1. Sequel to Protests in Ukwonyo Council Ward and other developments of security concern, the Ado Local Government Executive Council hereby declares 24 hours curfew in the Ukwonyo Ward with immediate effect.
2. Consequently too, there will be a strict enforcement of the Anti Open Grazing and Ranches Establishment Law of Benue State within the local government. Persons resident in Ado must comply or face the prescribed penalties.
3. There would be regular stop and search by security operatives within the territorial integrity of Ado Local Government. All persons, especially non indigenes must identify themselves upon demand or be treated as criminal suspects.
4. The youths and people of Ado Local Government are assured that, anyone arrested in connection with or complicity to insecurity in Ado will be prosecuted accordingly, irrespective of his status.
5. All Fulanis in Ado MUST embrace ranching or immediately leave in their own interest as it has become abundantly clear that, open grazing is intolerable and impracticable in Ado Local Government.
6. We appreciate our security agencies for their swift response to emergency calls and other issues of security concern.
