The Chief Executive Officer of Ochacho Real Homes; King Mohammed Odeh has given his consent to a women group in Upu Village, Otukpo LGA of Benue State.
The business mogul who was on a condolence visit to his maternal home met the group of women christined OCHACHO WOMEN LIGHT MOVEMENT who had been organising themselves with a view to self help and empowerment through cooperative activities.
The group made up of married women, widows and mothers was highly elated to receive King Mohammed who was accompanied by his younger brother and Managing Director of Ochacho Foundation, Hon. Alex Enokela, Chief Obogo Alapa and a host of others.
King Mohammed Odeh said it was challenging to see women in the rural area not giving up on life but putting heads together to support their husbands and families. He said it was not a coincidence that on this mother’s day he finds himself in the midst of great women.
He made a cash donation of one hundred thousand naira to the group while promising to put up a trust fund to support their course. In his own contribution, Hon. Alex Enokela donated 50 bags of rice to the women.
