Ochetoha K’Idoma Youth Wing Calls On BRM, Idoma Political Elites in the PDP, APC and Other Political Parties to Set Up Dialogue/Resolution Committee.

As we draw close to the 2022 party primaries with the hive of political activities going on in all political parties; it is important to keep in mind as a people the great importance of unified candidature under every political platform.

One of our errors over time has been the absence of an unbiased umpire in resolving aspirants across political lines which have been greatly responsible for the multiple outing of candidates from the Benue south senatorial zone for gubernatorial outings.

As at yesterday 1st September, 2023 we had gathered that the following are aspirants from the Benue South jostling for the ticket of the PDP and APC

It is imperative to keep in mind that the political parties remain the only platform to finding expression for this great ambition of our zone; a fit that we cannot achieve with a divided house.

We call on the leadership of the Benue Rebirth Movement under AVM Monday Morgan (Rtd) to move into action, liaise with the candidates in all the political platforms and set up Dialogue/Resolution Committees for with equal representation of membership nominees from all candidates (I.e 1or2 nominees per candidate) and a political elder of repute to chair the dialogue/resolution.

This will avail us as a people the opportunity to harmonize on time and give a super shot at the number Governorship ticket of the state.

We wish to use this platform to appeal to all the aspirants across party lines to keep an open mind and place “Idoma above Self” so as to set a healthy atmosphere for harmony.

As a socio-cultural organization we shall continue to advocate the subject of unity and shall take a bolder step of ” visiting and interacting” with all aspirants across party lines to emphasize on the doctrine of “Unity”.

We are open to all positive suggestions that will advance the Idoma course and give us a better direction as we remain greater together.
