Former Nigerian Senator who Proposed third term for President Obasanjo Dies at 83

Senator Hosea Ehinlanwo, who represented the Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State in the Senate for eight years between 2003 and 2011, is dead. Ehinlawo was the Nigerian Senator who proposed a third term for former President Olusegun Obasanjo. He had claimed that President Olusegun Obasanjo performed excellently well and should be given a third term.

Hosea Oladapo Ehinlanwo (born 2 August 1938) was elected Senator for the Ondo South constituency of Ondo State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2003, and was reelected in 2007. He is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
