OTUKPO COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, GEORGE FULFILLS HIS PROMISE, HANDS OVER COMPLETED LGEA CLASSROOMS BLOCK TO COMMUNITY, AMIDST CHEERS.

The Executive Chairman of Otukpo Local Government, Rt. Hon. George Alli, on Saturday, 11th December2021, kept his promise as he handed over the newly completed LGEA Onaje classrooms block to the community leaders, amidst cheers.

The Otukpo Local Government Chairman who is widely known and well appreciated for his numerous projects in all 13 council wards of Otukpo Local Government, was accompanied by the Secretary to Otukpo Local Government Council, Hon. Barr. Oyaje Egwa, Security Adviser, Hon. Igoche Ajaka Ikwue; Chief of staff, Hon. Awulegbe Adama and was received by jubilant crowd of community leaders, party chieftains and supporters who thronged the community square where Hon. Alli was received.

In their separate speeches during the occasion, all the leaders, including Hon. Oyaje Egwa, Counselor Represnesting Ugboju-Icho, Hon. Mathias Okpe; Hon. Awulegbe Adama, PDP Ugboju-Icho Ward Chairman, Hon. David Ikwu; Village Head, Gabriel Adonduwa; Hon. Alex Ineke; Elder Okpe Idu amongst other, wonders where the Chairman gets his funds to carry out the projects his administration has been executing in the various council wards. They praised him also for carrying Ugboju-Icho sons along.

While praising him for lifting their community, they made a case for school desks in order to aid the pupils learning comfort. A request he assured will be looked into in no distant time.

Hon. Alli urged the community leaders and parents to caution their kids against indulging in crime. He said without security it will be difficult for any community to develop.

Recall that Hon. George Alli, on 23rd November, 2021, on his Facebook wrote: “I am pleased to find that the buidling work has reached an advanced stage, with roofing woodwork almost completed. That is to say that our December 15th date for the completion of the project is feasible”.
