Internet fraud is a serious business for those who are into it. But for the Nigerian government, it is a crime against humanity and the nation at large. This partly explains the reason there is a consistent clamping down on the young boys who are into the business by the law enforcement agents.

On Monday, dozens of alleged internet fraudsters were arrested and paraded by the Lagos police command at Ikeja, GRA.

Among the crowd of criminal elements paraded at the command was one notorious Yahoo Boy named Afeez Olalere who confessed to have killed his own brother on the instruction of a habalist whom he consulted for his business to boom.

Afeez was arrested along Itamaga-Ikorodu road during a stop and search operation by the police.

While confessing to the crime, he explained that he actually went to consult a habalist on how he could make it big in the Yahoo business. And after consulting his deities, the Habalist told him the only way to run faster than his shadow in the business is to kill his younger brother.

Afeez who appeared to have been unsettled with the idea narrated what happened to their mother on getting home. Rather than being scolded by the development, the mother simply encouraged him to carry out the instruction so long it will lead to an unprecedented financial breakthrough.

According to the 32 years old Afeez, some parts of the younger brother would be used to prepare concoction for the job. He noted that his mother consented to the idea because his younger brother was just 21 years old.

Explaining how he was killed, the alleged internet fraudster confirmed that he and his mother poisoned the young boy’s food.

Twenty minutes after he ate the food, he died. Immediately after they confirmed him dead, they removed the necessary body parts needed for the concoction and later took his remaining body to the morgue.

Olalere made this confession to the press while being paraded by the Lagos police command on Monday
