OYALEWA FOUNDATION HELD HER FIRST MEETING WITH OGBADIBO TRADITIONAL COUNCIL.

In line with the vision and mission of OYALEWA FOUNDATION, to partner with INEC, and relevant organization, to sensitize and mobilize eligible voters across the Constituency, today’ held it first meeting with the traditional council comprising of Och’ Orokam/ Owukpa District Heads and Ward Heads.

We could recall that, in May 2021, the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC created an additional 56,872 thousand pooling units, accross the federation, bringing to a total number of 176,846 polling units across the Nation.
In the past 25 years, this is the first time additional polling units we’re created in Nigeria.

In View of this a meeting was held with 5 district Heads of the 13 wards of the council charging them and ward Heads, Chairmen of Various political parties, The PDP the APC, etc. The youths and women leaders of various parties and organisations.
They we’re mandated to serve as chairmen of committes formed and charged with the responsibility of Sensitising, mobilization, and Awareness of eligible voters, to participate in the on-goin exercise, to enable them participate in the forth coming general election.

The foundation is calling out on eligible voters, those who will be of the voting age before the General Election, those seeking for transfer of Poling unit, those seeking fresh voters etc, to come out in mass and participate in this exercise.

The chairman and CEO of the foundation, uses the opportunity to charge stake holders on the need to consider our numerical strength in the electioneering process and mobile her subjects to come out in mass for the exercise.
He further retraited he’s commitment to invoke the anti-open grazing prohibition law as signed by the state government, and ensured it’s full and compulsory implementation.
