The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) have commenced the distribution of desk and chairs to schools in the State as part of the UBE Intervention Projects.
The permanent Member, BENUE State Universal Basic Education Board, Barrister Emoh Adoga who performed the official flag-off of the distribution stated that in addition to free and compulsory education in the State, modern infrastructure are also provided to enhance development in the education system.
Barrister Emoh recalled that since she came on board, there have been series of trainings for teachers to enhance quality education delivery, distributions of gadgets and equipment that will aid learning and supervision in schools as well as agricultural products to reactivate school farming programme in line with the vision of Governor Samuel Ortom.
She commended Governor Samuel Ortom for his passion and support to SUBEB through prompt payment of counter part funding to ensure that UBE Intervention Projects are consistently executed in the basic schools across the State adding that Benue State is among the five states that pay counter part funds as at when due.

while she charged teachers to appreciate the efforts of the Government by delivering quality education in order to produce competent students that can compete with any child in the world.
