Immediate past caretaker chairman of Otukpo Local Government, Hon Alfred Omakwu has described the government of Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia as purpose driven. Hon. Alfred made the remark during the thank you tour of the governor to Otukpo/Ohimini held at St. Mary Primary School Otukpo.
Speaking to journalists during the event, Hon Alfred said the the governor has made tremendous difference in governance within his one year in office. The former caretaker chairman opined that Benue has witnessed remarkable transformation noting that the interest of the Benue people has been prioritized under the current administration of Fr. Alia.
While urging the people of Otukpo to remain steadfast in their support for the governor he expressed confidence in the ability of the governor to bring about more development to the state. He pointed out that since assumption of office, the governor has put smile on the faces of the civil servants and invested in infrastructual development in the state.
