Group loud Hon Demello Ikwumonu an Abuja based Businessman and Philanthropist, drums support for Father Alia

 

 

More accolades have continued to trail the support of Abuja based Businessman and Philanthropist, Hon Innocent Agbo Ikwumonu during last Saturday’s ‘Thank You’ tour of the Governor of Benue state, Rev Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia to Ado/Ogbadibo’s/Okpokwu Federal Constituency. This time by the Enone Political Roundabout who commended the business magnate, Hon Demello Agbo Ikwumonu for his renewed commitments to the overall development of the Federal Constituency.

 

The body’s Proterm Chairperson, Hon Eloyi Ogbe made the commendation while speaking to news men on Tuesday in Abuja.

 

While noting that the Chief Demello Agbo had amongst other contributions, donated a Hiace Bus each, carrying eighteen members of his support group from every council ward in Enone, totalling over 600 supporters to the venue of the event for the purposes of drumming support for Governor Alia during his visit.

Hon Eloyi Ogbe described the Governor Alia as a true leader who genuinely has the wellbeing of Enone and the entire Benue people at heart.

 

Corroborating Ogbe, is Hon Adoyi Abutu, a prominent grassroots mobilizer in Ogbadibo Local Government Area and member of the All Progressives Congress, noted the efforts of the 2027 Federal House of Representatives hopeful in providing refreshments to members of the party from the three local governments areas. Chief Abutu also commended the Governor’s initiative for approving the construction of a link road connecting the three Local Government Areas, the Agricultural Empowerment, 5000KW Transformer for Okpoga Town, the approval of the construction of a road from Igumale to Agila, stressing that it goes to show Fr Alia is ready to uplift the people from the many years of infrastructural hardship.

 

The Proterm Chairman, also cited the prompt payment of salaries, pensions and other retirement benefits as major achievement of the Alia led administration in one year.

 

“By ensuring Benue workers get the salaries and pensioners receiving their pension before 24th of every month, the Government of Fr Alia have made a loud statement” Governor Alia is a man who God has sent in this time and seasons.

 

Hon Eloyi Ogbe further praised Governor Alia for his effort in seeing the quality provision of health care by recruiting more professional personnel at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital as one key area the government has done beyond the expectations of the people in her first year in office.

 

He appealed to Enone people to continue to support and pray for the success of Governor Alia and Hon Innocent Demello Agbo Ikwumonu to enable them to succeed in their Agenda aimed towards the development of the Enone land and the entire state, promoting the wellbeing of the people.
