POISONOUS ATTACK TO HARM UKECHIR HAS REINFORCED HIS SUPPORT FOR TINUBU

In the Nigerian political landscape, there are certain individuals whose actions transcend the typical realm of political support. One such individual is the converner of Grassroot Support for Tinubu 2027 – The 1019 Initiative, Mr. Tersoo David Ukechir; a passionate and ardent supporter of President Bola Tinubu.

Mr. Ukechir’s dedication to the development of Nigeria, particularly at the grassroots level, has earned him admiration, respect, and a reputation as a selfless advocate for progress and welfare.

Whether he is offering scholarships to students, providing free medical treatment to Nigerians, supplying clean water to rural communities, or offering free transportation services, the Benue-born philanthropist is playing a significant role in complementing the efforts of President Tinubu’s administration to alleviate the challenges faced by Nigerians.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ukechir’s staunch support for President Tinubu has made him a target for those who feel threatened by his influence and impact. In a shocking and deeply troubling turn of events, Mr. Ukechir was poisoned, allegedly as a result of his vocal and steadfast backing of the president.

To the glory of God, he has survived after hours and days of thorough medical treatment in London and is back on his feets to continue his service to humanity and support to the President.

The attack on Mr. Ukechir which is aimed at silencing him and undermining his efforts, is not only an assault on his life but also a direct attack on the principles of free expression and democracy. Why should supporting the president be a crime so severe that it justifies taking someone’s life?

In a democratic society, citizens have the right to express their political beliefs without fear of retaliation, intimidation, or violence. Mr. Ukechir’s staunch support for President Tinubu is not a justification for such heinous actions.

All well-meaning Nigerians must take a stand to condemn this evil act. Mr. Ukerchir, like every Nigerian, has the right to live, the right to choose his political alliances, and the right to advocate for the leader he believes in.

Despite the sinister attempt on his life, Mr. Ukechir’s resolve remains unshaken. The poison that was meant to harm him has failed, and rather than silencing him, it has only reinforced his determination to continue with his support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
