Veteran Nigerian musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has spoken candidly about the difficulties he faced during his marriage to his estranged wife, actress Annie Macaulay.
In a snippet from an upcoming episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast, co-hosted by Nigerian comedians Nedu and Acapella, alongside South African media personality Kifilwe, the African Queen singer described his experience in the marriage as “living in bondage.” He also revealed that his life was at risk at certain points during the relationship.
“This thing they call ‘living in bondage’ is real. There were people who were ready to kill me,” 2Baba said in response to a question regarding the breakdown of his marriage.
