Makurdi, Benue State — The former Rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Dr. Usman David Kuti, has passed away. He reportedly died on Saturday evening in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, after battling complications related to a heart condition.
Dr. Kuti, who served as Rector of the institution, was widely respected for his transformative leadership, during which the Polytechnic recorded significant infrastructural growth and digital advancements.
His death has been described as a great loss to the Benue academic community and the state at large.
