🗳️ A new political twist is brewing ahead of 2027.
Hon. Yusuf Ishaku, a former senatorial candidate from Kauru Local Government, Kaduna State, has called on Peter Obi to dump the Labour Party and join the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for a stronger and more stable presidential bid.
According to Ishaku, ZLP offers a crisis-free structure, a united leadership, and even a strategic advantage as the last party on the ballot paper, making it easier for voters to identify.
“Peter Obi remains one of the most loved and trusted political figures in the North,” Ishaku said.
“But he needs a stable platform to build his movement — and ZLP provides that.”
He also warned Obi against joining the ADC, citing ongoing court battles that the APC could exploit to destabilize the opposition.
“This is the time for Obi to make a clear political decision. Many credible politicians are waiting for his direction before declaring their ambitions,” he added.
Do you agree that Peter Obi should leave the Labour Party for the ZLP ahead of 2027? ??
