By afternoon, the peaceful town of Otukpo was thrown into chaos as armed robbers invaded, shooting sporadically and taking innocent lives ,young and old, professionals and traders alike. The Otukpo bank robbery was a horrifying scene that left pain, tears, and unanswered questions.
Two years have passed, yet justice remains elusive. The perpetrators of that brutal attack are still unknown, and the memories of that dark day continue to haunt the community.
Today, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who lost their lives in the Otukpo bank robbery attack. Their memories remain with us, a solemn reminder of the lives cut short and the justice still yet to be served.
