According to social media posts, the lawyer was strangled to death by her husband, Christopher Odu, in the presence of their son.
However, despite the severity of the crime, he was released from the custody of security operatives.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has been informed that Mr. Odu plans to bury the body swiftly.
It was shared that her husband subjected her to physical abuse for over two decades, which commenced during their courtship.
Prior to her tragic passing, Barrister Odu was the sole breadwinner and had built their home, leaving behind three sons.
