A tragic incident occurred in Otukpo as the lifeless body of an unidentified lady was discovered in a culvert along Ijami Road, directly opposite the Otukpo Rice Mill.
According to eyewitnesses, residents in the area were thrown into shock after spotting the corpse early Friday morning. The circumstances surrounding the lady’s death remain unclear, but reports suggest she may have been killed and her body dumped at the location.
The body was later evacuated through the combined efforts of Ebonynaija Media, the Nigeria Police, and the Otukpo Local Government Council.
As of the time of filing this report, no one has come forward to identify the deceased, and authorities have commenced investigations to uncover those responsible for the gruesome act.
