Middle Aged Boys Allegedly Kpai Their Friend and Flatmate Dumped his Remains In a Morgue in Ekpoma

 

 

 

A disturbing case has rocked the Esan community, with reports of Kelvin Okoduwa, a gold seller, allegedly kpai by his friends Francis Olawie and Odion Aigbokhan. The incident which was reported by Bruce of the Esan Youth Awareness has sparked outrage and raised questions about the safety of individuals, especially in hotels and other public places.

According to eyewitnesses, Kelvin was called out of his hotel by his friends, who were staying with him, and never returned. The hotel manager reported that ome group of boys came to pack Kelvin’s belongings, raising suspicions about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

The next day, the two friends called Kelvin’s parents, claiming he had died after falling into a well while being chased by the police. However, when asked to show the parents the exact location of the mortuary where they claimed to have deposited Kelvin’s body, they refused, sparking further suspicions.

The police were able to convince the suspects to come forward, and they were arrested and taken to the State CID in Benin for further investigation. The police are working to ascertain the cause of Kelvin’s death, with some speculating it could be related to business dealings or court issues.

The incident has raised concerns about the role of the hotel management in ensuring customer safety and security. Many are questioning why the hotel manager didn’t alert the police when he noticed suspicious activity. The case has also highlighted the need for vigilance and caution when dealing with acquaintances and friends. The investigation is ongoing, and the community awaits justice for Kelvin.
