PRESS RELEASE :KWARARAFA REBIRTH KINGDOM ON THE PLATEAU SET TO HONOUR IDOMA HALL OF FAME AND CENTENARY PLUS CELEBRATION

The stage is set for the Kwararafa Rebirth Kingdom, Plateau State Chapter, to join its kinsmen, the Idoma Nation, for the historic Idoma Hall of Fame Induction and Centenary Plus Commemoration.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Wukaska Bako Gowon, Media Officer to His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, the Ngolong Ngas, who doubles as the Leader of the Kwararafa Rebirth Kingdom in Plateau State.

Gowon disclosed that since the announcement of the event on the State Radio and Television, the Palace has been flooded with phone calls from members across the state, all expressing their willingness to make personal financial arrangements and to be physically present at the epoch-making occasion.

He added that many described the invitation extended to His Majesty, the Ngolong Ngas, by the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee Chief Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN onbehalf of members, as a direct dividend of the recently concluded Kwararafa Rebirth meeting held in Abuja as conveyed by His Majesty, Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakitswen, the Aku Uka of Wukari and Father of the Kwararafa Kingdom.

The statement further eulogized the Idoma people as a critical and resilient pillar of the ancient Kwararafa Kingdom, calling on all descendants of Kwararafa to give the programme total support and to recognize its enormous cultural and historical importance.

For the avoidance of doubt, the statement reaffirmed that the event will hold as earlier scheduled on *Thursday, 15th October, 2026 at the Peach Event Centre, Wuye, Abuja.*

It further reminded all members of the Ngolong Ngas entourage that they are to assemble at *Grand Ibro Hotel, Zone 5, Wuse Abuja by 10:00 a.m.* on the event day as earlier announced for a coordinated movement to the venue.
