PDP Convention Unites Stakeholders as Party Chieftains Converge on Abuja

Ahead of today’s national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, stakeholders of the party that had not publicly identified with the PDP in recent past attended a party meeting in Abuja on Friday.

One of such persons include former Vice President Namadi Sambo. Also some former governors and ministers who had not been visible in the party affairs attended the meeting.

The stakeholders’ meeting took place at the Akwa Ibom State Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.

At the meeting, the stakeholders pledged to attend the national convention and other party activities.

The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
