El-Rufai Is Lying — Christians Are More Than Muslims in Kaduna. – Ben Kure.
A former aide to the ex-governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, and current chairman of the Kaduna State Radio Corporation, Mr.Ben Kure, has refuted El-Rufai’s claim that Christians in the state make up no more than 25% of the population.
Kure made this known during an interview with Channels Television on Monday, saying El-Rufai’s statement is baseless. According to him, Christians are not only concentrated in Southern Kaduna but are also found in significant numbers in parts of Northern Kaduna.
“There are Christians in Makarfi, Ikara, Kubau, and other local government areas in Northern Kaduna,” he said.
Kure also accused El-Rufai of frequently paying ransom money to bandits during his tenure as governor, despite publicly claiming to be against it.
“He himself told us while he was governor that he paid money to bandits. But after that, the attacks increased in the state, and the people suffered greatly,” Kure said.
He further alleged that the former governor deliberately divided the people of the state to achieve his political ambitions.
He added that Christians make up over 50% of the population, which means they are more than Muslims in Kaduna State.
