Army Raid Hideout of ‘Full Fire’ in Taraba, Recover Weapons Parts

Troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army have raided the residence of a suspected criminal kingpin, Terhemen Nzagha, popularly known as “Full Fire”, during a cordon and search operation in Ikyaior village, Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

Citizen Television Newsroom gathered that the operation, carried out on 6 September 2025, followed actionable intelligence that the suspect was allegedly harbouring armed criminals at Sabon-Gida Leke, near the Benue–Taraba border.

Although no suspects were found at the location, the troops recovered several military-related items including five Special Forces face caps, three AK-47 magazines, three FN rifle magazines, three rifle slings, two FN rifle breech blocks and slides, one AK-47 firing mechanism, two FN rifle stocks, two FN rifle springs, a mini-telescopic sight, an AK-47 rifle butt, an FN rifle bag, a badminton bag, two charms and a flashlight.

The Commander, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army / Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, praised the troops for their swift action and professionalism. He assured residents of Taraba that the Army remains vigilant and resolute in its mission to eliminate criminal elements from the state.

General Uwa also urged the public to continue providing credible and timely information to security agencies, noting that community support is vital to sustaining peace and security in Taraba and beyond.
