1.4 billion Naira is A Lot Of Money’- Nigerian Journalist Reminds Davido After He Subtly Shaded Wizkid

A Nigerian journalist has told Davido that $3M, which is equivalent to 1.4 billion Naira is a lot of money no matter how rich he is after his new post subtly shaded Wizkid over endorsement deals.

A fan recently quoted a tweet Davido made whereby he downplayed the significance of endorsement deals, well, on the premise that his rival Wizkid was getting more lucrative deals from companies. The fan said, “Davido said “fvck endorsement deals” because he doesn’t get proper offers from proper companies… Who would say no to a UBA deal worth $3million? This is why it is very important for artists to grow organically..”

On that score, Davido suggested $3m is chicken change because it’s something he will spend in a minute. It was at this juncture that the Nigerian journalist came in to remind the affluent singer that the aforementioned amount is a lot of money, even to someone like Dangote, the richest man in Africa.

3 million dollars is a lot of money even for Dangote. The richest Blackman on the planet would sense any debit of that size. That’s about 1.4 billion Naira in the parallel market today.
