“Otukpa People Used to Bathe With Palm Wine Until Gov. Alia Provided Water” — Dominic Alancha

 

Comrade Dominic Alancha has praised the administration of Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, for what he described as a significant intervention in addressing water challenges in Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of the state.

Alancha made the remark during a recent interview with Idoma Television, where he highlighted the reported water situation in the community before the intervention.

According to him, the lack of access to potable water had become a serious challenge for residents, forcing them to rely on alternative sources.

“Otukpa people used to bathe with palm wine until Governor Alia came and provided water for them,” Alancha said during the interview.

He described the provision of water as an important intervention capable of improving sanitation, public health and the general wellbeing of residents.
