benue:ARMED SQUAD OFFICER K1LLED IN AGATU AMBUSH AFTER HEROIC STAND

Agatu, Benue State — An officer of the Armed Squad was killed on Monday during an ambush by unidentified gunmen in Agatu Local Government Area.

Security sources confirmed that the officer lost his life after engaging the assailants in a gun battle. He was reported to have fought bravely in an attempt to repel the attack and protect his team before being fatally wounded.

Authorities have described the incident as a significant loss, commending the officer’s courage and commitment to duty. An investigation has been launched to identify and apprehend those responsible for the ambush.
