Amb. Lilian Adoyi: Human Capital Development, Not Mere Empowerment

Ambassador Lilian Adoyi, a top contender for the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal House of Representatives seat come 2027, has called for a shift in focus from mere empowerment schemes to human capital development.

She emphasized that short-term empowerment programs often leave youths back on the streets year after year, without sustainable impact on their lives. According to her, real transformation comes when young people are given access to quality education, skills acquisition, mentorship, and opportunities that prepare them for long-term success.

Amb. Adoyi reiterated her commitment to champion policies and initiatives that will build capacity, create employment opportunities, and unlock the potential of the youths in Otukpo/Ohimini. She noted that investing in human capital is the surest way to guarantee lasting progress for the constituency.

  • RESPONSE TO AMBASSADOR LILIAN ADOYI’S CALL FOR HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

Ambassador Lilian Adoyi has once again demonstrated visionary leadership by emphasizing the urgent need for human capital development in Otukpo/Ohimini. Her position reflects a deep understanding of the challenges facing our youths and the limitations of short-term empowerment schemes that have, for too long, failed to yield sustainable results.

Indeed, access to quality education, relevant skills, mentorship, and viable opportunities are the building blocks for lasting transformation. By championing these priorities, Amb. Adoyi is not only offering hope but also laying a solid foundation for generational progress.

We commend her unwavering commitment to policies that will build capacity, create jobs, and unlock the vast potential of our young people. The constituency needs a representative with foresight—someone who looks beyond immediate relief and invests in the future of our people.

Amb. Lilian Adoyi’s vision is timely, pragmatic, and in alignment with the true aspirations of Otukpo/Ohimini. It is our collective duty to support such a purposeful agenda that promises sustainable growth and enduring prosperity.
