BENUE BUSINESSMAN ORDUBU DELI RELEASED ON BAIL, TO ADDRESS SOCIAL MEDIA TODAY

 

Benue and Abuja-based businessman, Haakyav Tombu Peter, popularly known as Ordubu Deli, has been released from custody after securing bail.

His lawyer, Barr. Vershima Shamo, confirmed that the bail was granted this morning by Chief Magistrate Kelvin Mbaanongo of Magistrate Court 1 in Makurdi. According to Shamo, all bail conditions have been perfected.

Supporters of Ordubu Deli expressed joy and solidarity, saying they missed him during his incarceration.

The businessman is expected to brief his social media supporters today between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. today, where he will share his account of the circumstances surrounding his arrest, detention, and release.
