The Online Opinion Polls For The Benue South Senatorial election, 2027;

* A frantic no no no, to any 3rd term Agenda of the Incumbent Senator

* A vivid advocacy for senatorial power rotation across the 4 Federal Constituencies of Zone C.

A series of opinion polls, both online and in various Social-Political Groups of Benue South, including political parties, have forecasted that the Benue South Senatorial context, favours Apa Agatu Federal Constituency with all sense of fairness, inclusivity, justice, political consideration and stability of power equation in Benue South.

The recent Senatorial opinion poll by a popular Online Blog, known as EbonyNaija MediaBlog, indicated that the grassroots of the 9 LGAs of Benue South, supports the aspiration of Hon. David Olofu PhD, who hails from the Apa Agatu Federal Constituency, as the favorite for the Senate come 2027!

Olofu, a former Commissioner of Finance, Benue State, came top on the poll, defeating all other Aspirants, including the incumbent who came a distant 3rd position in the polls!

While it might just be an online poll, analysts like Hon. Agbese Onazi & Comrade Jude Faaji of Ado LGA, Barr. Egwu Oji, Comrade Ikpe Peters and a top Fan of the BBNAIJA-Grace Okpunyi Ode of Oju LGA; Comrade Godwin Alechenu & Hon. Umoru John of Ohimini LGA, Hon. Vincent Okoko Odoh, Hon. Robert Obetta Jnr. & Lady Blessing Onoja of Okpokwu LGA; Comrade Onah Friday and Bernard Alegwu of Obi LGA; Hon. Onehi Blessing, Jimoh Baba, Comrade Vincent Ochefie and Johnson Onehi of Apa LGA; Comrade Adecko Jacob, Comrade Abuh Elija of Agatu LGA; Comrade Kelly Agaba, Comrade Michael Agbo of Otukpo LGA; Comrade Joseph Okpe Oduh, Comrade Kelly Ekele of Ogbadibo LGA are all of the opinions that it is the rightful thoughts of the Benue South people to taking the political destinies into their hands and follow the right zoning formula in the spirit of brotherhood, while frowning against any 3rd term agenda of any political Office holder in the zone; emphasizing that since 1979, the Senate Seat has been occupied Six times by Okpokwu LGA, and Six times by Otukpo LGA, knocking out both Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency respectively from the Senate race; they all affirmed that it’s the time for Apa/Agatu after which the same solidarity shall be shifted to Oju/Obi Federal Constituency to Produce the Senate for zone c.

A Political & Right Activist, Hon. Daniel Edoache Atayi told our correspondent that what is being witnessed from the poll is the right direction that the electorates of Benue South have resolved to follow and to physically do at the polls come 2027!

Comrade Dan Atayi who is the Converner of the Senate Movement for Apa/Agatu Federal bloc, and one of the foremost Advocates for governorship power rotation in Benue State, emphatically said, no Aspirant from both Federal Constituencies of Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo and Otukpo Ohimini would be taken seriously for the senatorial seat come 2027! He opined that the focus is on Apa Agatu which is the most politically marginalized in zone C, and which has never produced any Senator, Deputy Governor nor Governor from the zone and for the state;… this is why our focus is on Apa Agatu moreso that we have found one credible Aspirant, David Olofu PhD from that Federal Constituency, it means, the federal bloc is hopeful to getting our collective votes of at least 95% in 2027, he said!

Atayi carpeted those who thinks that Social Media has no real effect in grassroot politics, to throw away their internet gadgets and stop using any of the social media to communicate with their loved ones at home; that way, they would know in just 48 hours, that the social media is the tool for the morden and Genzee generation, and it’s rooted deeply in the Grassroots for reciprocation of the opinion polls we see on social media.
“Gone are the days of political darkness, the Electorates are wiser now, and they don’t vote according to political parties’ directives, but according to consciences, Prudence, credibility, trust and the manifestos of expedient Aspirants, this shall play out come 2027, and trust me, we shall monitor our votes with the last drop in our veins, become will not allow even INEC to thwart our collective will, at least not anymore”.. he said.
