The Honourable Commissioner for Education and Knowledge Management, Dr. Mrs. Margaret Adamu Ijaguwa, today received in her office the Director General of the Benue State Education Quality Assurance Agency (BEQA), Dr. Terna Francis .
During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to work in synergy towards the actualisation of the vision of the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, in repositioning the education sector.
Dr. Ijaguwa noted that collaboration between the Ministry and BEQA is critical in driving reforms and ensuring quality education delivery across the state. She assured of her ministry’s readiness to provide the needed leadership and support in line with the Governor’s transformative agenda.
On his part, Dr. Francis emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in schools and pledged that BEQA would continue to complement the ministry’s efforts through effective monitoring and evaluation.
The meeting, according to both parties, marked a renewed commitment to strengthening the education system in Benue State for the benefit of present and future generations.
