Recently recruited teachers under the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) have appealed for urgent government support to facilitate the restoration of LGEA Primary School, Ado, which suffered extensive damage during past herdsmen attacks.
During their third day of resumption, the head teacher, staff, and parents convened a joint meeting to deliberate on measures required to rehabilitate the school and ensure the smooth delivery of academic activities.
The teachers expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded them by the host community and noted the enthusiasm of the pupils on their return. They reiterated their commitment to their duties, emphasizing their determination to deliver on their mandate.
They urged the SUBEB chairman, the state’s education authorities, and the Benue State Government to provide immediate intervention and resources to enable effective teaching and learning in the school.
