Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has revealed that steps are underway to secure an international warrant for the arrest and extradition of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to the United States. The allegations against Wike include money laundering, with claims that he used stolen public funds to acquire luxury mansions in Florida for his family members.
Wike allegedly laundered public funds to buy multimillion-dollar lakeside homes in Winter Springs, Seminole County, Florida, between 2021 and 2023.
Three properties were allegedly acquired in cash through quitclaim deeds, sparking concerns about potential money laundering schemes.
