Troops of the Nigerian Army, in conjunction with operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested two fake police officers and recovered two Toyota Hilux loaded with 1,134 blocks of cannabis in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Lieutenant Umar Muhammad, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 said the suspects identified as Monday George and Ezeugo Destiny Uche, were dressed in mobile police uniforms.
According to the statement, the occupants of the second Hilux abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on sighting the troops.
