THE DESECRATION OF IDOMA KINGSHIP AND HERITAGE BY A SON IN DIASPORA — A CULTURAL CALL TO ORDER

In a recent and unfortunate development, a son of Idoma land, taking advantage of global internet access while hibernating in faraway America, has chosen to desecrate the revered institution of the Ochidoma — the sacred stool of Idoma heritage.

This act, sacrilegious as it is, has brought shame upon the entire Idoma nation. The venomous utterances contained in his recent online outburst were laden with lies and baseless fabrications — maliciously portraying our Paramount Ruler as beggarly and diminished. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Over time, it has become evident that some of our youth have begun to imbibe alien attitudes — behaviors completely foreign to our culture. The ease and arrogance with which insults are hurled at elders, traditional leaders, and custodians of our heritage is deeply worrisome. It signals a dangerous erosion of our moral fabric and communal respect.

Let it be known: the Idoma throne is not a platform for ridicule. It is the living symbol of our unity, dignity, and continuity as a people.

Therefore, this serves as a cultural call to order. Families, clans, and community leaders must urgently call their sons and daughters — especially those in the diaspora — to retrace their steps and uphold the values that define us as Idomas. Disrespect to the crown and the elders is not freedom of expression; it is a curse upon one’s lineage and a desecration of our collective heritage.

Let every true son and daughter of Idoma rise to defend the sanctity of our traditions, for when respect for the throne is lost, the soul of our people is endangered.
