The Benue State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs. Theresa Odachi Ikwue, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Air Officer Commanding, Tactical Air Command (TAC), Makurdi, to seek collaboration in advancing child protection and women empowerment initiatives across the state.
During the visit, Mrs. Ikwue emphasized the importance of inter-agency cooperation in safeguarding children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation, while also creating sustainable opportunities that empower women to contribute meaningfully to society.
She expressed confidence that the partnership with the Nigerian Air Force would strengthen ongoing efforts of the ministry in promoting social welfare and community development within Benue State.
